The Anna Scher Theatre (AST) was established in 1968 and has produced household names for generations including Kathy Burke, Phil Daniels, Natalie Cassidy, Dexter Fletcher, Pauline Quirke, Gary and Martin Kemp, Patsy Palmer, James Alexandrou, Linda Robson, Naomi Harris, Gilian Taylforth, Reggie Yates, Susan Tully, Zawe Ashton, Jake Wood, Tameka Empson, Adam Deacon, Daniel Kaluuya and Joe Swash to name but a few. AST's method combines improvisation, discipline and professionalism with the natural talents within the local community, which makes for highly able, confident actors that deliver natural performances every time.
